Wall-covering work in the official list
Craft Construction's official homepage identifies Rapid City home repair, maintenance and renovation work. Its service list includes painting or wall coverings and drywall. Those topics do not establish a removal method, the condition beneath an existing covering or acceptance of every wall project.
Show the existing covering in a wider room view and at safely visible seams or edges. Include known product, layer or earlier repair information, and mark what is uncertain. Do not peel or scrape material to identify it for the enquiry.
Show the existing covering without opening the wall
Describe the desired next finish separately from the condition currently known. A preference for new wallpaper or paint should not imply that the underlying wall is ready for it. Ask what assessment is needed and how any removal, repair and preparation would be separated.
Agree what the handover should mean: a covering removed, a wall assessed, a repair completed or a surface prepared for another stage. Keep unresolved substrate questions visible before selecting products or arranging later decorating. A broad wall-covering description cannot supply those project-specific boundaries.
Questions for this enquiry
What can I show if I do not know the existing wall-covering layers?
State the uncertainty and provide existing records and safely visible seams or edges in photos. Ask how the condition should be assessed without peeling or scraping material to complete the request.
Does removal of old covering mean the wall is ready for its next finish?
Do not assume so. Ask what condition will be assessed and handed over, and which repair or preparation stages are separately included before the next finish is selected.
