Describe the physical repair separately from intentional filling
BMU’s separate descriptions ask for leak-repair proof, such as a plumber’s statement, and pool-fill beginning/end dates and dimensions. One event’s record should not be substituted for the other.
Name the leaking fixture or line concern without choosing an unassessed cause. Record any known filling event separately, using dates already held. If the sequence is uncertain, leave the gap visible rather than assigning all increased use to either a leak or filling.
Ask for a work record that describes the repair actually completed
Ask for a work description that identifies the repaired item, location and completion date. A bill that only says plumbing work may leave the actual task unclear. If assessment found something different from the original concern, have that distinction explained in the work record.
Keep the pool event with its own dates and dimensions instead of adding them to a statement of leak work. Ask BMU which current evidence addresses the particular enquiry. A provider’s account of a completed repair does not establish the utility’s decision, and no adjustment or amount is promised here.
Questions about this project
Which records does BMU distinguish for a leak request and a pool-fill request?
The leak section asks for repair proof; the pool section asks for fill beginning/end dates and dimensions. These are different record categories.
How should a repair enquiry handle a pool filled during the same period?
Identify the pool filling as its own dated event and retain the provider’s description of the actual repair. Leave the contribution of either event to total use unresolved unless it has been assessed.

For a rented home, confirm who can authorize alterations. In a shared building, ask about access and work rules. A citywide construction period does not establish the age, condition or safety requirements of an individual home; check the property records and the specific project.
